This army also included women, gathered a total of 14000 rebellions and formed an army, together with her army, Rani Laxmibai fought to save Jhansi but the British people took control of her army. After this, Rani Laxmibai went to Kalpi with her son. Going to Kalpi, he along with Tatya Tope and all the other rebels formed a new army and attacked the British for Jhansi.

But Rani Lakshmi Bai became unsuccessful. Rani Laxmibai did not get hurt much while fighting, but a lot of blood was shed. When she was riding on a horse, a waterfall came in the middle. Rani Laxmibai felt that if she crossed this waterfall, no one would be able to catch her. But when he reached near Jarna, his horse refused to go any further.
Then suddenly Rani Laxmibai's waist was hit with a rapid rifle from behind, due to which a lot of blood started coming out. To stop the blood, as soon as she went to put her hand on her waist, suddenly the sword fell down from her hand. Then again suddenly an English soldier hit him sharply on the head, due to which his head exploded. Then he fell down from the horse, after some time a soldier took Rani Laxmi Bai to the nearby temple, only then his breathing was on for a while. Rani Lakshmibai said to the priest of the temple that I am leaving my son Damodar to see you.
After saying this, his breath stopped, then his entire sequence of actions was done. British General Hurose praised Rani Lakshmi Bai a lot, he said that she was very clever, powerful and the most dangerous in the Indian Army.
What happened to Damodar after the death of Rani Lakshmibhai?
After the death of Rani Laxmibai, no one protected her adopted son Damodar Rao. The British had captured Jhansi. Damodar Rao died of hunger in agony. During that time Damodar Rao used to roam the streets, go to the forests and earn his living by begging.
In this way a lot of time passed, only then he came in contact with the younger Khan. Chhote Khan introduced him to Mr. Flink, an English officer. When Mr. Flink met, he understood the whole story and made a recommendation in the court of Queen Victoria, after which he started getting a pension of 200 rupees per month. with which he made his living.
Damodar Rao Newalkar arrived in Indore on 5 May 1860. Here his aunt (who was Damodar Rao's real mother because Rani Lakshmibai had adopted Damodar) got him married but after some time Damodar Rao's first wife died. Lakshmana Rao from the second marriage of Damodar Rao was borned. Damodar Rao's tragic and difficult life ended on 28 May 1906 in Indore.
